Alec currently serves as the Vice President of Recruitment for Phi Delta Epsilon, and has been the Rush Chair in the past. Elsewhere on campus, he is the VP of Elderly Programming for Cornell Music Vs. and is a member of his social fraternity, Beta Theta Pi. Alec conducts research at Cornell in the Hay Lab, working in the field of

molecular biology and bioinformatics. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, soccer, and being outdoors. 

 

Alec joined Phi Delta Epsilon’s Iota Class his freshman fall. Since then, PhiDE has helped Alec in a myriad of ways – through academic advice, club connections, friendship, and more. He has been exposed to the medical school application process and learned from the experience of the older members. Phi Delta Epsilon has been a crucial part of Alec’s Cornell experience and has helped him grow in many ways, strengthening his desire to become a physician and pushing him intellectually. As Vice President of Recruitment, Alec hopes to lead a successful rush, foster a stronger brotherhood, and help the new PhiDE member class be as successful as they can be.
