Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity was founded to support the guiding principles of philanthropy, deity, and education.
We accomplish this through:
1. Fellowship, mentoring, and leadership development
2. Scientific education
3. Teaching and practicing ethics in medicine, medical research,and medical teaching
4. Nonprofit community service
As the only International Professional Medical Fraternity, PhiDE brings these values and teachings to premedical students, medical students, and physicians around the world.

MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
At the Cornell University chapter, brothers must uphold the following responsibilities on a semester and/or yearly basis:

Attendance at chapter meetings: All brothers are expected to attend weekly chapter meetings, which take place each Monday from 5:30 - 6:30 PM in Morrill Hall, Room 106. These meetings are mandatory

Attendance at brotherhood events: Each semester there are brotherhood events that must be attended by every brother. These may include new member initiation, Gelfand lectures, certain philanthropy events, and elections, which take place every other semester.

Dues: A fee for new members and returning members is required to be a part of Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity. Dues for new members are $150 for their first semester and $100 for each returning member annually. These dues do not cover social programming and apparel purchased by members of the fraternity.
